How Can The EPL Live Up To Last Seasons Drama?

Bundles of joy, ecstatic moments and party atmosphere are soon to arrive in your lives as the EPL returns after two months. Rumours about transfer of players from one club to other have added some spice to the pre-season, but now the thrill of football in this season’s EPL has begun.

But is it possible to live up to the drama of the last few matches of last year’s EPL title? Who can forget the battle between Manchester City and Manchester United to achieve the top position on the premiership table? Manchester City had the great advantage of leading on the table with goal difference, provided that City and United had same number of points. On the last day of the season with United leading Sunderland 1-0 and City looking down and out against Queens Park Rangers, an equaliser at 92 minutes and then an unbelievable winner at 94 minutes took city to the top of premiership table. This is going to be hard to top for soccer fans.

Fans were in frenzy with EPL betting last season, as two big teams were competing for the premiership title. Bets on soccer have already begun, and soccer fans across the globe will pile in to get their own experience of drama in every football match this season too.

With Chelsea winning the FA Cup as well as the European Champions League last season, some sports fans say they are right in the hunt for this season EPL title. But pre-season transfers of star
footballers may have contributed to a rise in EPL betting, as people are keen to see how new
players gel in the line ups as their favourite club will hit the pitch.

There was plenty of betting action to predict if City or Chelsea will be the winner of Community Shield, and it was Manchester City who prevailed and perhaps firmed them as likely favourites
to defend their EPL title. Liverpool will hit the pitch this season with Joe Allen transferred from Swansea, and it seems that Merseysiders may have something to cheer about in the EPL this season after all.

The Community Shield result and transfer news of various players has changed the odds for bets on many of the upcoming matches of the EPL. But for Sports Fans every new season brings new highlights (and lowlights) and the typical zealous soccer fans are no doubt going to have plenty to get excited about in season 2012/13.
